I am a trainee on the higher specialist training programme in Respiratory Medicine and am currently undertaking my Medical Doctorate (MD) with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) through their Strategic Academic Recruitment (StAR) MD programme.  I graduated with my medical degree from RCSI and have extensive clinical training in Ireland. I am delighted to have the opportunity to return to Beaumont Hospital and RCSI for my MD.  I have also completed an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice with RCSI. My MD research project aims to develop a better understanding of the progression of familial pulmonary fibrosis (FPF).  It will also look at the genetics of the FPF population.
